Taylor Swift was among the big winners at this year's (09) BMI Country Awards - she picked up Song of the Year for her hit track Love Story.
It's the second consecutive year the star has picked up the coveted prize, she won the same award in 2008 for Teardrops On My Guitar.
Other big winners at the event in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday (10Nov09) included Bobby Pinson, who was awarded the Songwriter of the Year title, for his work on tracks including Sugarland’s All I Want To Do and Already Gone.
Meanwhile, Kris Kristofferson was named BMI Icon, and stars including Willie Nelson, Patty Griffin and Vince Gill all paid tribute by taking to the stage to perform his songs.
During the show, Nelson said, "There's not a better songwriter alive than Kris Kristofferson. Everything he writes is a standard, and we just have to live with it."
Swift is also nominated for a clutch of prizes at the Country Music Association Awards, which take place on Wednesday (11Nov09).
