The Haim sisters will open up for the 24-year-old singer on seven shows throughout North America.
Taylor Swift has recruited the very talented Haim sisters, comprised of Este, Danielle and Alana Haim, to be her opening act for select dates of the 24-year-old singer's forthcoming '1989' world tour.
Swift will be heading on a '1989' world tour in May
Swift announced that Haim will be joining her for several North American shows via Twitter on Sunday (Feb 1st), she tweeted, "The girls and I got to talking and I'm overjoyed to announce that @haimtheband will be joining The 1989 World Tour!! TOURING W/ SQUAD YESSSS."

Haim will open for Swift on seven upcoming dates in their home country, which includes multiple-night concerts in East Rutherford, N.J.; Washington, D.C.; Chicago; Foxborough, Mass.; Los Angeles; Nashville; and St. Louis.
After Swift made the announcement, Haim also took to Twitter to express their joy. "So excited we get to hop on the 1989 tour with @taylorswift13 and play a few of our favorite cities!" they posted, before adding, CAN IT BE SUMMER ALREADY @TAYLORSWIFT13!? #partylikeits1989."

The world tour officially kicks off in Louisiana on May 20th, and will travel across Europe as well as North America before heading down under to Australia in December 2015. So far, other confirmed opening acts include Vance Joy and Shawn Mendes.
Haim will join Swift on 7 North American dates
The addition of Haim is a rather perfect fit for Swift as she already has a close relationship with the sister, which can be seen in a variety of Instagram photos she has posted lately, including a snap of them all enjoying a vacation in Hawaii.
