Taylor Swift makes her impressive TV commercial debut in a Diet Coke ad campaign that sees her show off her final 'Red' single '22'.

The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker is seen writing up the lyrics and strumming away on her guitar to find the tune of '22' while her fans, meanwhile, sing along to the track at work, in the car and on karaoke. After signing on to the brand for a long-term partnership, she has previously said in a statement, 'I've said for years that Diet Coke just 'gets me' and my lifestyle. I'm so excited about our new partnership.' The ad made it's TV debut during 'American Idol' last night (April 11th 2013).

In the ever continuing battle between Coca-Cola and Pepsi, the latter have also debuted a new celebrity face in their commercials in the shape of Beyonce Knowles who busts some of her best moves in front of mirrors reflecting different images of herself, before the poignant message 'Embrace your past but live for now' is stated. In the background, hew appropriate new song 'Grown Woman' plays. Now it's just a question of who does 'pop' music better; country star Taylor or R&B beauty Beyonce?
