Swift will not be performing at this year's Grammy Awards

"Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of the 1989 World Tour right now, I'm not going to be performing on the Grammys this year," the 25-year-old singer shared on Tumblr Monday afternoon (Feb 2nd). "I need this time to focus only on the tour."

In November 2014, Swift announced plans for a huge world tour, in support of her No.1 album '1989,' which kicks off in Louisiana on May 20th, and is heading across the rest of North America as well as Europe before travelling down under to Australia in December 2015.

Despite not performing at Sunday's award ceremony, held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Swift will be in attendance as she is up for three Grammy Awards. But fans can still expect to see the 'Blank Space' singer awkwardly dancing in her seat.
