Taylor Swift really didn't need to win any Grammy awards on Sunday evening to have an eventful night. Despite having three nominations and going home empty handed, Swift managed to steal nearly as many headlines as Kanye West on Grammy night, thanks to her always eventful personal life.

Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift had an eventful Grammy night.

Hitting the red carpet, Taylor’s first noteworthy moment came when she encountered Entertainment Tonight host Nancy O’Dell. After the camera’s panned to Swift’s dress O’Dell decided it would be appropriate to say to the signer, "I just wanted to show the legs, because as I was telling you ahead of time, I think you're going to walk home with more than just a trophy tonight. I think lots of men.”

But Swift managed to shut down the cringe worthy moment quickly by replying "I'm going to go hang out with my friends, and then I go home to the cats. Men get me in trouble.” O’Dell then asked Swift for a selfie leading to a pic nearly as awkward as the pair’s prior exchange.

Speaking of men, E! News reports that Taylor and Irish singer Hozier were looking cosy on Sunday night, when both attended Sam Smith’s post Grammy bash. ”They were hanging out a lot and talking with each other. They looked really cute together,” as guest told E!

It’s not the first time the pair have been spotted together as last week they were seen attending a Haim concert together in L.A.

One person Swift probably wasn't looking to get cosy with, was her rumoured rival Katy Perry, who she reportedly managed to avoid the entire evening. The New York Daily News repots that Swift skipped Universal’s Post grammy party in order to not run into Perry

“Taylor was expected at the bash but ducked away,” a source told NYDN. Adding that execs were worried that mutual pal Sam Smith “could get caught in the worst hate sandwich in pop.”

Swift and Perry are said to be feuding after the ‘Shake it Off’ singer told Rolling Stone last September that she is “straight-up enemies” with another female pop star, believed to be Perry, who “tried to sabotage an entire arena tour” of hers.

However one ‘beef’ that really is well and truly over, is the one between Swift and Kanye West, who famously interrupted the singer onstage at the 2009 VMAs. The pair were pictured enjoying a laugh together at the awards, hopefully not at the expense of Beck, who was the target of Kanye’s award grievances this year.

Mimicking the 2009 incident with Swift, Kanye jump onstage when Beck’s Morning Phase was named album of the year. Although he quickly stepped down, he later told a reporter backstage, “Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce, and at this point, we tired of it.”
