Swift is not insuring her legs for $40 million

Several unidentified sources close to the 25-year-old singer have revealed to Extra that the stories about her team insuring her legs for a whopping $40 million is "silly" and "not true."

Only days ago rumours began circulating on the web that because Swift is known for her high-energy performances, her management team were looking to take precautions against potential career-threatening accidents as she is embarking on a world tour.

At the time an insider was reported as saying, "It seems like a ludicrous sum, but if something was to happen to her legs, Swift wouldn't be able to give her signature stage performances. Her $200 million career would be in big trouble."

"But $40 million shocked her. She's even a little embarrassed about it," the source added.

Reports further stated that pop star's team were even completing the necessary paper work ahead of her '1989 World Tour', which kicks off on 20th May, 2015, in Louisiana, USA.
