Taylor Swift's godson is making her ''think differently''.

The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker paid a touching tribute to four-week-old Leo Thames - her friend Jaime King and husband Kyle Newman's second child - during her concert at Santa Carla's Levi's Stadium in California in Saturday (15.08.15) as she dedicated a song to the little boy.

Speaking before performing 'Never Grow Up', she told the sold-out crowd: ''I wrote it when I was like 18 or 19 but my friend just had a baby and she made me godmother of it and I was holding this little baby the other night and I was just thinking differently.

''When you're holding onto something that's so innocent and so perfect and has no idea what's coming for it with the world. The world is going to throw so many things at you as we grow up.''

Footage of the touching dedication quickly spread online, with Jaime among those who watched the footage.

The delighted 'Sin City' actress then took to Twitter to share how ''blessed'' she is to have the 25-year-old pop star play such an important role in her son's life.

She wrote: ''This is so beautiful Tay, Leo Thames is so blessed (sic).''

Taylor met her godson for the first time when he was just two weeks old and used lyrics from 'Never Grow Up' to caption pictures of their meeting on social media.

Alongside a picture of the baby's hands curled around her finger, she wrote: ''Your little hand's wrapped around my finger and it's so quiet in the world tonight...(sic)''
