Now the star has come out to slam Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian-West who claimed Taylor approved of her own reference in Kanye’s new song, Famous.

In an interview with GQ, Kim criticised Taylor and insisted she knew about Kanye’s reference to her, which includes, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b*tch famous."

Following the interview, a spokesperson for Taylor said: "Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognises the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West.

However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect."

Taylor's spokesperson confirmed she had spoken to Kanye on the phone and he had asked her to release the song on her Twitter account.
