Taylor Swift doesn't want to be known as ''the Heartbreak Queen''.

The 25-year-old singer - who is currently dating Calvin Harris - insists she is a very happy person despite sharing her relationship woes with past boyfriends, including Harry Styles and John Mayer, in many of her songs.

Speaking to the June issue of America's Elle magazine, she said: ''I don't want to be known as the Heartbreak Queen. I want to be known for having a beautiful life. And that doesn't mean that everything has to be good all the time. There's beauty in the ups and downs. I want to be known as being a really good friend. I want to be known for being really loyal. I don't ever want to be the person who looks at other people in their industry as competition and therefore ends up either alone or surrounded by an entourage of people who tell them they're gorgeous and perfect and the best and queen and all of that. I don't really have much of a queen complex.''

Despite being content with her life and career, Taylor no longer believes in the idea of ''happily ever after,'' but she does hopes to find long-lasting love.

She explained: ''Now I have more of a grasp on the fact that when you're in a state of infatuation and you think everything that person does is perfect, it then - if you're lucky - morphs into a real relationship when you see that person is not in fact perfect, but you will want to see them every day.''
