Teresa Giudice, star of Real Housewives of New Jersey, has been publically mourning the loss of her father-in-law on Twitter.

Frank Giudice died suddenly on Wednesday (18th June) at the home of his son Joe Giudice in Towaco, New Jersey. No official cause of death has been released but Frank, aged 63, apparently collapsed according to People. 

Frank had an extensive family including eleven granddaughters. The entire family have been posting their memories and thoughts about Frank on Twitter. One of his granddaughters and Teresa's daughter, Gia Giudice, wrote "The pain in my heart is unreal" and attached a picture of her late grandfather. 

Teresa has also posted numerous pictures of her father-in-law with members of their family on Twitter, including one of Joe and Frank on Father's Day. She has also thanked fans for their prayers and kind wishes.

The Giudice family's representative spoke to People about the family's loss. The rep said: "They're holding it together. Joe and his dad were best friends. It's very hard and the girls have gone through a lot and continue to go through it. There's a lot of emotion going on."
