Christmas comes early for 'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice as she is set to be released from prison early following an 11-month stretch for numerous counts of fraud. Rather than have a big homecoming/Christmas celebratory bash, however, she's looking forward to some intimate festivities with her family.

With just over 3 months left of her 15 month sentence, the reality star is set to be freed from prison on Wednesday (December 23rd 2015) just in time for Christmas, having been released early for good behaviour. The early release will allow her to spend a precious few months with her children and husband Joe, before the latter begins his own sentence in March - a significantly longer 41 month stretch.

'She's looking forward to coming home', Giudice's lawyer, James Leonard, told ABC News. 'She's going to go straight home. She's not going to a halfway house. She's going to get to spend Christmas with her family and get back to her life.'

As for where she'll be spending the holidays, Teresa, Joe and their four children will go to Teresa's sister-in-law Melissa Gorga's house for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and savour their last Christmas together as a family for up to three years. Whether or not the gathering will be captured on film remains to be seen, but it's sure to be an emotional episode if it's the case.

The couple were sentenced in October 2014 after pleading guilty in a deal for 41 counts of fraud, after initially denying all charges back in 2013. Following Joe's own prison stretch, he could face deportation to Italy. The pair were allowed to begin their sentences separately in order for their children to be taken care of by one parent, and together they were also ordered to pay $414,000 in restitution.
