Singer Thalia's actress sister Laura Zapata is writing a play based on her 2002 kidnapping ordeal.

Zapata and her sister ERNESTINA SODI were abducted, held captive and released after their family handed over an undisclosed ransom.

The ordeal lasted just a few weeks, but Zapata has stated it was the most terrifying experience of her life.
