Bombay Bicycle Club - Everything Else Has Gone Wrong
It's been the longest they've ever gone without releasing an album, but six years after UK number one 'So Long, See You Tomorrow', Bombay Bicycle Club return with 'Everything Else Has Gone Wrong'. They also have a new label, Mmm... Records, and if the title single and lead single 'Eat, Sleep, Wake (Nothing But You)' are anything to go by, it will be another stellar hit.

Having been gobsmacked by the winner of The 2019 Brits' Album of the Year and Best British Group award, Simon Wilkes delves into his disliking of The 1975.
'Alexa, play songs by The 1975'.
This request has never been uttered in the Wilkes household, which is somewhat strange considering their popularity - and the fact I was born on January 1 of the very same year.
I have a black tee shirt with 1975 emblazoned across the chest, and think it's a pretty cool year to have entered the world - don't know why, it just is.

Ten huge new album releases coming up in 2019!
Happy New Year, music lovers! 2018 was a cracker for great albums, and the coming 12 months also promises to shape up. Here’s just ten of the most exciting new album releases scheduled for 2019.
Lana Del Rey has been teasing the release of her fifth studio album, with the working title Norman F***ing Rockwell, since the end of the summer. This week, she trailed it with the release of new single and video, with the unwieldy title ‘hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me…but I have it’, representing the fourth cut from the LP. There’s no release date as yet, but the last we heard LDR5 was going to appear in the first half of 2019.

Taking place at Heaton Park in Manchester on June 10th and 11th.
Parklife, brings some serious class and style to the amazing city of Manchester, whose history of music deserves such a stella line up! Having Frank Ocean headlining on Sunday night, pretty much sums up the quality of Parklife these days. Parklife 2017 will not disappoint and seems like a big contender in the plethora of premier music festivals in the UK this year. Parklife would appear to be a brilliant way to start the summer. The festival is held at Heaton Park which is rapidly becoming a place of musical legend!
I attended the festival years ago at Platt Fields Park and though it was in its early years, it had great potential. Being a music lover, I can't believe how much the festival has evolved and grown into major festival. With a capacity of 70,000, as well as a VIP area and eight stages, Parklife looks to be firing on all cylinders!

Matty Healy doesn't think it is right that musicians should ''stay in their lane'' and feels it important for those with a platform to use it to speak out about what matters to them even if it is something political.
Matty Healy doesn't agree that musicians should ''stay in their lane''.
The frontman of The 1975 thinks it is important that musicians open up about issues that are important to them and encourages people who have a platform to ''use it''.
He said: ''This whole thing of [people saying] 'stay in your lane' - well, we will stay in our lane but our lane is socially and politically informed pop music. It's a big lane. People who have a platform should use it, that's just b****ing out if you don't.

Frontman Matt Healy said ‘Glastonbury stands for everything that our generation wants.’
The 1975 frontman Matt Healy took time out of the band’s Glastonbury set on Saturday (June 25) to speak about his thoughts on the EU referendum result. Dressed in a white flared suit, the singer said he felt the older generation had voted for something that his generation didn't want, causing cheers from the crowd at Worthy Farm.

“This song is about compassion, and loving people, and I feel like as a young person I’ve got a responsibility to say something. What do I know – I don’t f****** know anything, I’m a popstar in a suit,” he said introducing ‘Loving Someone’.

More spellbinding music to come in the form of 'Clean' EP.
Absorb yourself in a haze of poppy dreamscapes with up and coming London artist The Japanese House, whose latest single 'Cool Blue' is proving too mesmerizing to switch off. In fact, we're pretty certain our end-of-the-week stress levels have significantly reduced with the help of this melancholic melody maker.
The Japanese House is coming with her second EP 'Clean'
If you don't believe us, experience it yourself. Everything from the gentle yet fast-paced guitar and melodic synths to the harmonised, choir-like vocals have a remarkably hypnotising effect on the listener; and only then does the beat kick in, synchronize with your pulse, and you get an expansive, satisfyingly full sound that never seems to over-indulge. It's flawless.
