Back in manifesto territory here, and The Broken Family Band have swapped their previous routine country-tinged sound for an out-and-out stomper - 'Love Your Man Love Your Woman' is a call to exorcise the unnecessary materialism from your life and concentrate on what really matters - "you've got more than enough but you still want more stuff... when all you need are trees and flowers and someone to hold you when you want to be held / you think you need peace and security, well that stuff's just temporary". The conviction with which Steven Adams belts out the title chorus makes up for any melodic shortcomings, and the result is a track that demands a sweaty en masse shoutalong. The Rogue Element remix populating the B-side adds a cheeky stutter and swagger to proceedings for the more electronically minded. Good stuff.
