Coldplay Feat. BTS: Will This Be Among The Band’s Finest Collaborations?

Earlier this year Coldplay’s Chris Martin expressed his love of several movies and songs that he found “helpful and wonderful” - among them being BTS’ smash hit Butter. We never had the singer down as a K-Pop fan, but we can’t blame him for loving the track.

This bromance goes both ways too, with the K-Pop superstars performing Coldplay’s Fix You on MTV Unplugged back in February with their blessing; that’s a big deal if you’re aware of how precious Coldplay are when it comes to letting other artists cover their music.

Lady GaGa Mark Ronson The Chainsmokers

It ain’t the world of pop if there ain’t a popstar beefing with another popstar and, as Kanye has gone quiet over recent weeks it’s left the door open for others to express their distaste for one another: this time it’s Lady GaGa and Mark Ronson vs. The Chainsmokers.

The Chainsmokers - Heaven 2nd March 2016 Live Review

The Chainsmokers took to London's Heaven as part of their European tour to liven up a mundane Wednesday evening.

The Chainsmokers - Heaven 2nd March 2016 Live Review

The set saw tracks taken from their 2015 debut EP Bouquet playing -Waterbed, Until You Were Gone and Roses. All the songs Chainsmokers played went down well, Roses was a particularly memorable part of the show, the slower beat with a catchy and fun chorus created something different to rest of the set and quite in contrast to the up-tempo Until You Were Gone which would fit into any Ibiza club at the moment.

The New York duo consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall sees an experimental take on electro house. Recent releases such as Don't Let Me Down (which features singer Daya) is a soft track, the delicate vocal and a relaxed melody pushes the music genre in a different direction from the American DJ's.

Ultra Music Festival turned out to be a bit of a rollercoaster of a weekend for everyone this year but, as usual, it's been three days of some of the most explosive electronic acts of our generation.

It was a terribly disappointing moment for festival goers (and, indeed, viewers; those who were viewing it live online) when it was announced that Saturday's main stage headliner Avicii would not make it to Miami for his set after being hospitalised earlier in the week for an emergency operation. However, that initial fan frustration was greatly eased by the arrival of Deadmau5, who took the Swedish DJ's place to much delightful surprise. Further entertainment came with some eagerly anticipated headline sets from Tiesto and Hardwell on the Friday and Sunday respectively.
