Contactmusic caught up with The-Dream, AMA nominated Breakthrough Artist of the Year, on his recent visit to London to talk about his second album LOVE vs. MONEY, his amazingly successful song writing and his musical plans for the future.

Not everyone is aware of The-Dream as an artist but you would have had to "hide in a cave" for the past few years to not have listened to the man's songs. The-Dream has written huge hits for A-list stars such as; Umbrella by Rihanna, Touch My Body by Mariah Carey and Beyonce's Single Ladies to name but a few. The-Dream has also penned hits for Usher, Mary J Blige, J. Holiday, Celine Dion, Chris Brown, Madonna and Britney Spears - basically this guy has the "Midas Touch" and along with Kanye West and Ne-Yo is at the forefront of a creative force in modern black music.

The-Dream has completed his second album, LOVE vs. MONEY and it has been available in America since The Spring. LOVE vs. MONEY now gets a full UK release. LOVE vs. MONEY has Def Jam chairman Antonio "L.A." Reid on board as Executive Producer and is co-produced by The-Dream, Tricky Stewart and Carlos McKinney. Guest appearances on LOVE vs. MONEY come from the likes of Mariah Carey, Kanye West, and Lil' Jon amongst others.

The-Dream's single "Walking on the Moon" is released in the UK on 21st Sept.
