Fact: Rockers Jon Bon Jovi, Bono and The Edge helped a bride-to-be celebrate her upcoming nuptials in style last week (ends17Jul15) by posing for photos with the bachelorette party at a restaurant in East Hampton, New York. The stars were dining out at Moby's on Thursday (16Jul15) when they came across the all-girls bash and offered up their congratulations. The U2 musicians were in the Big Apple ahead of their eight-show residency at Manhattan's iconic Madison Square Garden.
Fact: U2 stars Bono and The Edge have signed on to create new music for Once director John Carneys semi-autobiographical new movie. Sing Street will chronicle a teenage boy's efforts to escape his dysfunctional home life in Dublin, Ireland.
Fact: Bono and The Edge thrilled American TV viewers on Monday (18Jul11) by giving an impromptu performance of their hit song Stuck In A Moment - while still seated - during an interview with late show host David Letterman. The cast of their famous Broadway play Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark also gave an exciting performance, with Spider-man literally dropping in from the ceiling for a quick chat.
