His Second album from beyond the grave, 'Duets: The Final Chapter' sees biggie appearing with some of today's biggest artists including Eminem, bobby Valentino and Twista. Although this may seem to be another attempt for Sean Combs to have another hit off of the credit of his late best friend Notorious B.I.G. Bad Boy has hit hounds like Scott Storch and Swizz Beats to produce the album, however if your looking for unheard of vocals by Biggie that was promised for such a project by the DJ that said to of discovered Biggie, Mister Cee then this is not it. The list of collaborations on the album ranges from Slim Thug, Faith Evans to regrettably Akon and Korn yet a few songs do leave an impression. '1970 somethin' is the mellow magic that we miss from Biggie and features the perfect blend of vocals from Faith Evans and The Game. The chosen first single from the album is 'Nasty Girl' another slick R&B hit however doesn't feature much of the husky Biggie and more of the contemporary artists like Nelly and Jagged Edge. The Just Blaze track 'Living In Pain' samples Biggie and 2Pac's rap from 'House of Pain' accompanied by Mary J Blige oozing her epic chorus making it one of the only truly effective track on the album. Elsewhere the album lacks any decent creativity from what you would expect from the likes of Missy Elliott on 'Ultimate Rush' and even the Bob Marley collaboration 'Hold Your Head' could have been better. The album gives the impression of a rushed attempt, it starts of well with 'Spit Your Game' but takes a downward land slide after 'Breakin' Old Habits', even the front cover is a poor attempt, in a whole this album doesn't add anything to credit Biggies memory.
