| The Sleepy Jackson This Day This single in undoubtedly laid-back – a Beach Boys sort of vibe – and it really grows on you after repeated listens. No matter how much you try to dislike it, ‘This Day’ is a sunny, largely acoustic affair with a few sparkles of electric guitar here and there. ‘Come to This’ is a bit less happy but no less decent. The only way to describe it would be as country rock, there’s definitely yearning in it in both the music and lyrics.
