The Stone Roses have just released their first single in more than 20 years, 'All For One', and it has sent some serious nostalgia through their oldest fans. We've been waiting for some new stuff ever since they reformed in 2011, but now that we have some, we can't help comparing it to their landmark debut.
The Stone Roses are back with a new single
The artist... The Stone Roses are Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani and Reni; four musicians that grew up in Manchester listening to the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Byrds, Johnny Marr, Sex Pistols and The Clash to name but a few of their early influences. Their self-titled debut album was followed by a less critically acclaimed second album called 'Second Coming' in 1994, two years after which they disbanded. They famously set-up a concert at Spike Island in 1990 which gathered 27,000 people.
