Valerie is the latest single from the recently released second album from quintet The Zutons. Having already sold over 600,000 records on the strength of their 2004 debut 'Who Killed the Zutons?' they don't fail to satisfy expectations.
Half way between 90's Brit-Pop and 60's Detroit soul it's a clear indication of the distance the band has come on in the two years of almost continues touring most notably in the voice of front-man Dave McCabe. Having already booked no less then eight UK festival dates as well as a string of other shows it looks like we're going to be seeing a lot of the Zutons this summer and it's hard not to imagine Valerie being a staple of their live set.
