Thom Yorke Harrowdown Hill Single

Radiohead front man, political activist, all-round neurotic grouch, and now solo artist, Thom Yorke is a man with many strings to his bow. The first single from his The Eraser album sees him at his most direct, lyrically at least.
A scratchy, funk inflected piece of IDM about the death of Dr David Kelly isn't exactly Hit Parade material, but Yorke's innate melodic knack makes Harrowdown Hill a beguiling pop song, despite the grim subject matter, and should be enough to show the casual fan that this is more than just a stopgap before the next Radiohead album.
