Tim Burgess from The Charlatans has unveiled the video for his new solo track 'White' ahead of the release of his LP 'Oh No I Love You' on October 1st 2012 through O Genesis Recordings (R Stevie Moore, Nik Colk Void).
The triply, psychedelic 'White' video has been created Dan Tombs who has previously worked on videos for Gold Panda, Nathan Fake, Luke Abbott, Walls and Jon Hopkins. It features Tim sat down and singing throughout the whole tune but the image has been warped in various different ways to resemble a kaleidoscopic montage. The track maintains some of the classic electro-pop features that Tim wrote so well in his former band and possesses a skilfully crafted chorus that you'll find very difficult to keep out of your head for a long time.
Tim brought in several people to assist him in the writing and production of his album including Kurt Wagner and other members of his band, fellow O Genesis artists R Stevie Moore and Nik Colk Void, Chris Scruggs (grandson of bluegrass legend Earl Scruggs) and producer Mark Nevers among others. Tim is set to tour with his band, The Charlatans, around the UK this October kicking off in Aberdeen and concluding in Belfast.
