It seems Tom Cruise is a pretty nice guy after all. The Hollywood star has decided against pressing charges against his neighbour, who drunkenly trespassed onto his property over the weekend. Jason Sullivan, an Australian model and reality star, had stumbled home drunk and mistook Tom's massive property for his own.

The actor's security told Jason to leave, though he thought it best if he scaled the privacy wall first. After walking towards the house, Sullivan was tasered twice and arrested for misdemeanour and trespassing before being released. On realising that having an electric current blasted into your sensory nerves was probably enough of a hangover cure, Cruise decided against pressing charges against his neighbour. His lawyer Bert Fields told TMZ.com, "Tom's not a vindictive guy.The guy was drunk.  He didn't have a malicious intent."

Beverly Hills cops will likely refer the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney though it's a fairly standard looking misdemeanour and it's likely Jason will get a slap on the wrist for this one. It's been a big year for celebrity trespassing, with Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian and Halle Berry all suffering scary episodes. (Mainly people jumping into their gardens and peering through the windows).
