The play opened to rave reviews last year (12) at Yale Repertory Theatre in Connecticut and will now hit New York's theatre land in February (14). A venue has yet to be announced.

Fact: Actress Toni Collette is out of a job - her comedy series United States Of Tara has been cancelled after three seasons, according to Deadline.com. The Aussie star won an Emmy for her lead role as Tara, a wife and mother who struggles with dissociative identity disorder, in 2009.

Fact: Philip Seymour Hoffman and Toni Collette's new clay-animation film MARY + MAX will open the 25th Sundance Film Festival in Utah in January (09). The film follows a pen-pal friendship between an Aussie girl and an obese middle-aged New Yorker. It will be director Adam Elliot's first trip back to Sundance since he screened his short film Harvie Crumpet there in 2004. The festival proved lucky for the animator as that film went on to win an Oscar.
