TV might have made some great strides in recent years, but if there’s one thing that hasn’t changed, it’s this: mention the word “sex” and you have people’s attention. Case in point: the promo for Tori Spelling’s new reality show (Spelling and reality TV, it’s not really a novel concept). In the confessional-style video, which has already been branded “shocking” by a number of news outlets, Tori mentions that her husband is apparently so addicted to the Deed, that she simply cannot give him enough. Would you like to know more? If so, then you’re in luck because Tori and estranged husband Dean McDermott are by no means shy about revealing the inner workings of their relationship.

Tori Spelling, Extra
Tori Spelling has plenty of emotional moments on the upcoming show.

The couple get personal as the show tracks their problems with his alleged infidelity and rehab in Lifetime's new six-episode docudrama, True Tori. "That's my worst nightmare [that] I cheated on my wife," McDermott, 47, says as the two are sitting on what appears to be a counselor's couch. "I was out of control. Sex was an escape, just like drugs or alcohol."

It looks like the show will see them trying to resolve their issues, not always successfully. The promo also shows Tori crying on what appears to be a councilor’s couch.

"I'm really mad," she says. "I can never give him enough sex. He's never going to be happy with just me."

McDermott appears confused. "You don't think you deserve me?" he says before reaching over to console her.

Well, that was a confusing exchange. The real question, however, is will it make enough people interested in the show? True Tori kicks off  April 22 on Lifetime.
