Trevor Noah’s guests for his first week presenting ‘The Daily Show’ have been announced, with just a few days to go before the Comedy Central talk show takes a great step into the unknown.

Noah, who was selected by Comedy Central’s president of programming Kent Alterman to be Jon Stewart’s replacement after he retired last month after presenting the show for 16 years, will be talking to comedian Kevin Hart on his first ever show on Monday (September 28th).

As time goes on, the plan is clearly to keep things much the same as they were under Stewart, talking to a mixture of celebrities and more serious guests such as politicians and industry executives.

According to the network’s press release, his guest on Tuesday will be Whitney Wolfe, the founder and CEO of Bumble, which is a dating app similar to Tinder but which only allows women to make the first move in conversations. New Jersey Senator Chris Christie, a hopeful for the Republican presidential nomination, will be on the show on Wednesday.

Noah’s first week closes out with rock musician Ryan Adams, who has this week released a much-talked-about cover versions album of Taylor Swift’s 1989, talking and performing on Thursday.

Last week, South African-born Noah, who has worked as a regular contributor on ‘The Daily Show’ since the end of 2014, appeared on Stephen Colbert’s ‘Late Show’ to talk about his new opportunity and the state of politics in America.

In March 2015, he was selected as Stewart’s permanent replacement on the show that his predecessor had presented since 1999. Though he probably remains something of an unknown quantity for now, Comedy Central was applauded for promoting from within.

However, his Twitter account was then scrutinised and a number of jokes were singled out as being offensive to women and Jews. The network stood by their decision, though, saying: “Like many comedians, Trevor Noah pushes boundaries; he is provocative and spares no one, himself included… To judge him or his comedy based on a handful of jokes is unfair.”
