Tyra Banks has announced she’s leaving her Disney/ABC show ‘FABLife’ in order to focus on her cosmetics line, TYRA Beauty. The show debuted back in September, with the 41 year old returning to daytime television for the first time since ‘The Tyra Banks Show’ ended in 2010.

In a statement Banks said, "This is a very difficult decision, but necessary. I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, TYRA Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company's other entertainment ventures.’

Banks will stay on as the series’ executive producer through to December. She will also continue to appear on the show a few times a week for the rest of the year and will then be making occasional appearances throughout the rest of the season. 

Writing on Instagram, Banks further explained her decision to leave the show saying: "I've made an executive decision to keep following my heart and spend more time focusing on my army of entrepreneurs, my Beautytainers, so we can bring the power of transformation to people everywhere..."

Banks’ other show, ‘America's Next Top Model’ is supposed to come to an end after Cycle 22 finishes airing on The CW next month. However according to Deadline there is a possibility that it wont be away from our screens for long.

The website reports that the show could be heading to another platform, with show runner and executive producer Ken Mok reportedly on board. Banks is said to also be lending her support and will likely continue as an executive producer, though it’s not know if she will stay as host.
