Singer-turned-actor Tyrese Gibson is still amazed he is a part of the Transformers film franchise - because he used to be obsessed with the cartoon as a child.
Gibson shot to Hollywood stardom after the huge box office success of the 2007 blockbuster, which took $701 million (£497 million) worldwide.
And the star admits he was particularly proud to be involved in the franchise after discovering he'll get his own action figure to coincide with the release of the film's sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, this summer (Jun09).
He says, "They're showing us all the latest toys that are going to be out with the film and everything, it just feels so mega-big. It's a real honour to be a part of this whole situation. I grew up looking at the Transformers cartoon. I was the little kid with the bowl of cereal in my hand, in my drawers watching Transformers. So it's crazy!"
