The Irish rockers are in the middle of their 'Innocence and Experience Tour'.
U2 were force to cancel Sunday night’s concert in Stockholm, Sweden, following a security breach at the show’s venue, The Globe. The band who are currently on the European leg of their ‘Innocence and Experience Tour’ have rescheduled the show for Tuesday, September 22nd.
U2 have had to postpone their gig at Stockholm’s The Globe.
A statement on the band’s official website reads, ‘Due to a security breach, Stockholm's The Globen evacuated the audience from the building this evening. As the breach has not been resolved quickly and as audience safety is paramount, the police have advised The Globen and Live Nation that they have no option but to postpone tonight's show, to a rescheduled date of Tuesday 22nd September.’

‘All tickets from Sunday 20th September are valid for Tuesday 22nd September. The organisers apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank the audience for their understanding. Their safety is the priority.’
No official word from the band on what the security breach entailed has been given, however The Irish Mirror reports (via Sweden’s Expressen) that police were searching for a specific person who was armed with a gun and threatening another member of the crowd.

The man was said to be in his 20s and police spent time sweeping the venue while fans waited outside, helicopters were also reported to be circling overhead. Speaking to the Associated Press, Stockholm Police spokesman Kjell Nildgren said, "We are investigating a crime against Swedish weapon laws", adding that police had not found any suspicious "persons or objects yet."
