Rich Incognito, the former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman who is currently a free agent, has arrived back in the city for the first time since January 1 to attend the Ultra Music Festival 2014. The dance music extravaganza - which kicked off today (March 228, 2014) - promises to turn downtown Miami into a giant rave for the weekend.

Ultra Music Festival

"I am here for the Ultra Music Festival," Incognito told Local 10's Ross Palombo after touching down in South Florida on Thursday night, "You know, it's funny. I grew up around music and movies, and everything was telling me to come back here."

"I feel like a part of me was missing. It's good to be home," he said.

Despite planning the last-minute trip, Incognito promised he would be keeping a low profile, saying, "No appearances, no parties. I'm just home."

More than 165,000 people are expected to attend the three-day event at Bayfront Park, with numerous parties, after-show events and secrets gigs dotted across the city.

Here's a couple of acts you won't want to miss this weekend:

M.I.A - who's being sued by the NFL for flipping off 85 million viewers during the Super Bowl - is always worth checking out live. She plays the Live stage tonight, sandwiched between Basement Jaxx and MGMT, which sounds pretty good to us.

Chance the Rapper also plays on the Live Stage tonight, before the Basement Jaxx. This guy's fresh off a hugely successful show at Basel Castle, after which the New Times said he "could have easily carried his own headline performance."

Dizzee Rascal might not be making albums of the same quality as Boy in da Corner anymore, but he's still worth checking out for his energetic live shows. He plays early on the Live Stage on Sunday - a perfect mid-afternoon treat.

This year's Ultra Music Festival is headlined by Tiesto (Friday), Avicii (Saturday) and Hardwell (Sunday). Empire of the Sun, 2ManyDJ's, Cut Copy, Example, David Guetto and Diplo also perform.
