Verne Troyer has assured fans he’s feeling fine, after he was taken to the hospital following a seizure on Saturday. The Mini-Me actor was making an appearance at the Heart of Texas Comic Con in Waco when he suffered the seizure, during a meet and greet with fans.

“Everything's ok guys. Thanks for the concern,” the actor wrote on Twitter, later adding “Thanks again guys! See you tomorrow at @thehotcon.” The 2feet 8inch star then posted a video showing him recuperating in his hotel.

"I'm sure you guys have heard some news that I went to the hospital," Troyer said in the video."But I just want to reassure you and let everybody know that I'm doing fine. I was there for maybe a couple of hours, did some tests and now I'm here at the hotel.”

The actor’s rep had confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter earlier in the day that Troyer had been taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. The rep also added that his test results had come back normal and the actor was currently doing fine.

Some fans of the 46 year old who were queuing for autographs and photos at the event witnessed the scary scene, with one woman later detailing the incident on Instagram. According to the Daily Mail Instagram user @oqtimusqrime posted a photo of herself posing with the actor on along with a caption explaining what had happened.

'Verne had a seizure earlier right in front of me, but I have heard that he is resting back in his hotel,” @oqtimusqrime wrote. I'm so glad he's okay!’ I'm not sure exactly what happened, just know that he got really tired and started seizing and spitting up blood. So scary, my heart stopped!’ the user continued.

The Heart of Texas Comic Con also tweeted a a message of support for the actor, writing “We wanted to wish Verne Troyer a speedy recovery. He mentioned that he’s doing okay. We look forward to seeing him soon!”
