Victoria Beckham is banning husband David from buying an iconic TV car.

The soccer star wants to purchase the back door of the yellow three-wheeler Robin Reliant from classic British comedy show 'Only Fools And Horses' when it goes up for auction in Britain later this month and hang it on a wall at the couple's Los Angeles mansion.

However, fashion designer Victoria isn't keen on the idea as she doesn't think it will fit in with their stylish home.

A source close to the couple - who have three sons, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, nine, Cruz, seven, and eight-month-old daughter Harper together - said: ''David reckons it would be great to buy and bring it back to Los Angeles. He's a massive fan of 'Only Fools and Horses' and watches it with his sons all the time.

''The main sticking point is Victoria. She's not too keen on having a bright yellow car door knocking about.''

The yellow door is emblazoned with the famous slogan, 'Trotters Independent Trading Co, New York-Paris-Peckham' and is signed by cast members including Sir David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst.

The BBC One sitcom ran from 1981 to 2003 and followed the lives of wheeler dealer Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter (David) and his younger brother Rodney (Nicholas) in Peckham, south London.
