Victoria Beckham has announced she's partnering with cosmetics giant Estée Lauder to launch a limited edition make-up collection, due to hit shelves later this year. It will be the first time the former Spice Girl turned fashion designer has lent her name to a full make-up line, having previously launched two nail polishes with Nails Inc. in 2014.

"I am thrilled to be launching this limited-edition make-up collection with Estée Lauder," Beckham said. "The whole process has been both inspiring and eye-opening - from going back and revisiting the Estée Lauder archives through to working on the product with the Estée team, this feels like the perfect make-up partnership for me and my brand.”

“I had long admired Estée Lauder the woman, and the powerful brand that she created, so I am excited to offer both of our customers this make-up range and play a small part in her vision for women.”

The collection will be named 'Victoria Beckham Estée Lauder' and will be aimed at both older and younger customers. From September it will be available for purchase from Victoriabeckham.com and Esteelauder.com, as well as further selected retailers.

"We are excited to join forces and bring Victoria's take on beauty to her many fans around the world," Jane Hertzmark Hudis, group president of The Estée Lauder Companies said. "Victoria is an entrepreneur in the true spirit of our founder, Estée Lauder, with a real understanding of what women want, and a commitment to making women look and feel their most beautiful.”

The partnership with Beckham is the latest move by Lauder to attract a younger customer base. In recent years the brand has used celebrities such as Kendall Jenner and Eva Mendes to try and appeal to younger customers, as well as blogger Irene Kim.
