To celebrate the release of the new 'Chrome Edition' of their 2020 album, 'Ungodly Hour', Chloe x Halle have also premiered a video for the title track. Chloe and Halle originally released their third album, 'Ungodly Hour', in June last year with 13 tracks and have just re-released it as an enhanced 15 track record. The new version of their album contains two new songs, 'Hazy' and '80/20', both of which will no doubt feature at some point this year, for now only an audio video is available for each.
To date Chloe x Halle have only shared videos for 'Ungodly Hour' as either an audio only video or as part of their performance for the VMA's back in August of last year. As they've dropped the new extended cut of their album they've obviously decided that now is the time for them to give some special attention to the title track of the album itself.
The Grammy award winning Georgian sisters have taken their video shoot into the near future with 'Ungodly Hour' as the pair are filmed in various, near dystopian, scenes. The Beyonce protégés start out in skin tight blue PVC outfits as they move around the laboratory dance floor. The siblings are also seen in dark water in a clip that resembles that of Samantha Morton in 'Minority Report', adding further to the futuristic nature of the video directed by Alfred Marroquín.
Chloe x Halle keep to the tight beat of the R&B tune as they dance and twerk through their latest video. Costume changes include a shimmering silver full length, full sleeve chrome dress as well as a sequined shoulderless black number. The pair, joined intermittently throughout by various dancers, rock each look with style as the song progresses.
"Love me, love, me. Love me, love me" the girls sing and we're pretty sure you will if you don't already.
