It feels like a long time coming, but Dodie Clark is finally set to drop her self-released debut album 'Build a Problem' this Spring. She has this month unveiled an entertaining video for her new song 'Hate Myself' in which she appears as an extremely hard-working postal clerk.
It's been 10 years since the 25-year-old singer-songwriter first created her YouTube channel where she started releasing her music. Now at 1.94 million subscribers, it's safe to say she's found her niche in the music world despite having yet to drop a full-length studio release.
The upcoming new album follows Dodie's last EP - 2019's 'Human' which reached number five in the UK - and she's released a total of five singles from the record since 2019 including last year's 'Rainbow' and 'Cool Girl'. Co-produced by Joe Rubel and Pomplamoose, some of the songs were previously released on her channel, such as 'When' which we first heard in 2016 and which appeared as a live acoustic version on her 'Intertwined' EP.
'Build a Problem' will be released on March 5th 2021.
