With her debut album 'Build a Problem' finally almost here, Dodie Clark has dropped a new video for her single 'I Kissed Someone (It Wasn't You)'; her sixth release from the album.
The video has been directed by fellow YouTube personality and filmmaker Hazel Hayes, who previously directed Dodie's 'Human' video in 2018, and stars actors Niall McNamee ('The Foreigner'), Rebecca Stone ('Dirty God'), Michael Lin ('A Discovery of Witches'), Linford Johnson and Reb Day.
'I Kissed Someone (It Wasn't You)', produced by Joe Rubel, follows the release of previous singles 'Guiltless', 'Boys Like You', 'Cool Girl', 'Rainbow' and 'Hate Myself'. Dodie has been releasing music on YouTube since 2011, so her upcoming album really has been a long time coming. She previously admitted that the writing process was difficult as she went through a crisis of learning who she was as an artist, with the actual recording coming with its own problems as it coincided with Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic.
'Build a Problem' will be released on May 7th 2021.
