Prior to the full cinema release of the film 'The King's Man', FKA Twigs and Central Cee have premiered one of the main tracks to feature in it - 'Measure Of A Man'. 'The King's Man' is a prequel to the hugely enjoyable and very popular 'Kingsman' series that have starred Taron Egerton, as Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin, and Colin Firth as Henry Hart.
The latest instalment of the franchise, due out on December 22nd via 20th Century Studios, is described "As a collection of history's worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions, one man must race against time to stop them. Discover the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency in The King's Man".
FKA Twigs has said that the new track is a departure from the norm and has presented a challenge to the enormously talented singer-songwriter. 'Measure Of A Man' is certainly no 'cellophane' but it is a real cinematic gem that has all the hallmarks of a Bond theme, enough to give even Billie Eilish a run for her money.
Talking about her new track FKA Twigs said that "This song has such a different sound, which is a challenge; you’ve got to really embody the song. For me especially with my vocals, I had to pull a different side of my artistry out".
The collaborative song is also has a very different feel to anything that Central Cee has released to date. The 'Obsessed With You' hit maker said, "What I listen to when it comes to trying to find beats is something theatrical, it needs to sound like a movie. And that’s exactly what’s going on with this song, it sounds like it’s made for a movie regardless".
'The King's Man', starring Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, Charles Dance is in theatres from 22nd December.
