Greta Van Fleet are so old-school, we can't help but love them. They've just dropped a video for their latest single 'My Way, Soon', and it's essentially a montage of footage from their everyday lives blended with live shows, all shot in that fuzzy, low-quality video style we associate with old classic rock bands.
Sometimes it feels as though the world wasn't quite ready for Greta Van Fleet when they released their debut album 'Anthem of the Peaceful Army' back in 2018. It may have reached number three in the US charts and followed a Grammy-winning masterpiece that was their 'From the Fires' EP, but the critics weren't all on board.
However, 'My Way, Soon' sees the Michigan rock quartet truly come into their own; no longer can you compare them to Led Zeppelin, they are simply Greta Van Fleet. They've yet to announced a follow-up to 'Anthem of the Peaceful Army', but the first single is enough to get us extremely excited for it. It's just a shame we don't know for sure when we'll seem them on the live circuit again, but then, not even COVID can put a dampener on the mood that 'My Way, Soon' gives us.
