To the tune of Journey's iconic 80's anthem, 'Don't Stop Believin'' comes Ladbaby's 2020 assault on the charts, 'Don't Stop Me Eatin''. Following on from 2018's 'We Built This City' and last years Joan Jett inspired 'I Love Sausage Rolls' comes Mark and Roxanne Hoyle's (Aka Ladbaby) latest Christmas single.
The Hertfordshire family are back to trouble the charts with another festively accessorised tune featuring their favourite pork based snack, the sausage roll. It's all in good humour and all in a good cause, and sadly all too necessary for some.
As in previous years all of the profits, yes 100%, from Ladbaby's latest release will go towards helping The Trussell Trust, the trust that helps support a nationwide network of food banks across the UK. Ladbaby will be hoping it's three in a row as he releases this years single having topped the UK charts for the last two years running.
Mark Hoyle has kitted out his whole family in matching Christmas outfits this year and even invested in the "world's fastest shed" that doubles as a Santa's grotto and recording studio. It's all done with great hilarity but the video also contains some serious messages to highlight just how dire some people's circumstances will be over the Christmas period.
"UK Food banks are expecting to hand out food parcels every 9 seconds this winter" reads the sobering headline before the song kicks in. "Just a sausage roll, on a year that's outta control, feeding the nation is our Christmas goal".
It's not going to win any Grammy's or an Ivor Novello award but it is hopefully going to raise a shed load of cash for a very worth while charity and put a smile on the nations face as it does so, good luck LadBaby.
