Mimi Webb is quite literally in Dreamland as she has the run of the heritage theme park virtually to herself in the video for 'Halfway'. After deciding that both she and her mates need a girls night out Mimi ditches the ice cream parlour on Margate's sea front for the thrills and spills of Dreamland's pleasure park.
In the vibrant video, directed by Malia James (Green day/Rita Ora), Mimi reminisces about a lost love as she sings - "And I'm thinking 'bout who I'll be without you, In the middle of the bed we made, Now I'm walking on the edge when I'm around you, How could love make you feel this way?"
"Does forever have to come to an end" Mimi asks as she wonders beneath the light of the Ferris Wheel between the Waltzers and the Whirl Around. Whilst she's trying to experience all the fun of the fair Mimi's mind is clearly focused on matters of the heart. Sadly, not even the delights of the Roller Disco can save this relationship.
'Halfway' is taken from Mimi's debut EP - 'Seven Shades of Heartbreak' which dropped on October 22nd via Epic Records. The seven track EP features Webb's previous singles 'Good Without', 'Dumb Love' and '24/5' as well as new tracks 'Little Bit Louder', 'Heavenly', 'Lonely In Love' and 'Halfway'.
Mimi Webb has been steadily growing her audience all year and has had chart success with all of her last three singles; most notably for 'Good Without' which peaked at number eight in the UK and has so far spent 26 weeks on the chart.
To support the release of her debut EP, Mimi Webb is touring. Mimi will be playing London, Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, Bristol and finally, London again in February 2022 at Shepherd's Bush Empire.
