Following last month's single release, 'CLOUDS', and ahead of his imminent album release, Michigan rapper NF has shared a new song and video, 'LOST'. With his new mixtape album set to drop on March 26th NF, real name Nathan John Feuerstein, has premiered his latest release to be lifted from it.
NF's new single features singer-songwriter/rapper/producer and 'Kumbaya' artist Hopsin and is the second single to feature on the forthcoming ten track mixtape, 'CLOUDS'.
"My mistakes are like a screaming parrot" Feurstein sings on his latest song, all about finding yourself. He continues, "Self-awareness, pride’s a coat and yes, I like to wear it. Buttoned up, don’t like to let no air in. With a pair of gloves, that I hope doesn’t perish. I discovered, though, when I get holes in ’em and I let joy in, I’m in higher spirits."
The accompanying video, co-directed by Patrick Tohill and NF himself, is similarly chilly. Set in the Colorado mountains it sees NF, and his latest collaborator Hopsin, lost in the snow, endeavouring to find their way home. The stunning panoramic setting of NF's new video is visually arresting and provides a spectacular setting for the pair as they are pictured tramping through the desolate and demanding terrain.
In terms of pre-release sales NF is riding high on the Apple Music chart, even overtaking Taylor Swift's 'Fearless (Taylor's Version)' to claim the top spot. Clearly NF fans can't get enough of the 'Let You Down' rapper. 2021, the year Nathan John becomes a Dad for the first time, looks likely to be another stellar year.
