Following the release of, '-R-', the two track EP from ROSÉ that featured lead single, 'On The Ground', the BLACKPINK singer has shared the video for it's second track, 'Gone'. After breaking records with her first solo single and video ROSÉ looks set to replicate that feat with 'Gone' having already racked up 12 million views in 18 hours on YouTube alone.
The debut solo release from ROSÉ has so far generated an incredible 17.4 billion steams in less than a month and has also topped the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global, excluding US, charts, beating The Weekend, Olivia Rodrigo, Silk Sonic and BTS for the week of 27th March. Whilst there is no intention yet for ROSÉ to even contemplate leaving her girl group BLACKPINK she is no doubt enjoying every minute of her unprecedented solo success.
Taking to Instagram ahead of the premier of her latest video ROSÉ said, "Today was my last performance for 'On the Ground' promotions. Thank you all for supporting me throughout this whole journey Please continue to love 'On the Ground' and I hope you guys enjoy my 'Gone' music video (out in 30 minutes!!)."
Where ROSÉ was caught up in some explosive action for her 'On The Ground' video she is in far more reflective mood on her latest as she shares her relationship breakdown. As she sings "Tell me, why'd you have to hit and run me? Now I'm all alone, cryin' ugly. You broke my heart just for fun. Took my love and just left me numb. Now it's eight in the morning. Hate in the morning (All because of you)" ROSÉ acts out her anguish on screen.
The song may not be as immediate or commercial as it's EP counterpart, 'On The Ground', but it does capture the tender and expressive vocal that ROSÉ has been blessed with. Fans of ROSÉ will also have more than enough to entertain them with the many costume and scene changes that arise on her latest video. There are some bold looks and even bolder platform heals to be copied here, and ROSÉ rocks them all in her latest video.
Her new lingerie photos have divided opinion across the internet.
