After closing out the second half of 2020 with some very successful duets with Ava Max, Post Malone and Jhene Aiko, amongst others, Saweetie has hooked up with Doja Cat for her latest single, 'Best Friend'. The 27 year old Santa Claran rapper, born Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, has a new album due out later this year.
The lead single from album, 'Tap In', was released way back in June last year but her latest, 'Best Friend', is expected to be the opening track of the new album, 'Pretty Bitch Music'. The new single, featuring fellow So-Cal rapper Doja Cat, has a real zing to it with an irresistible Hip-Hop beat reminiscent of Dr Dre's work.
The accompanying video starts beside the pool with the two singers tanning themselves before being interrupted by "fake, woke, misogynist" Jamal. "Does he really think he's an ally to the feminist cause", "Bitch please, that kind of crass virtue signaling is a less overtly nefarious form of toxic masculinity" they conclude, seeing Jamal on his way, tail between his legs.
Saweetie and Doja Cat follow their time in the sun with a shopping spree, a drive around town in a gull-wing, totally blinged up Tesla ("Beep beep is that my bestie in a tesi") and a trip to a strip club, all the while looking a million dollars in their various outfits, of which there are many!
If Damien Hirst made falcon-winged Tesla's like he makes skulls, his Tesla X would look exactly like Saweetie's does in the video. For now, "That’s my best friend, she a real bad bitch, Drive her own car, she don’t need no lyft, "In the strip club know my girl gone tip, Now she twerking throw it out and come back in".
