Summer Walker, SZA, & Cardi B have released an extended cut of Summer's album track - 'No Love' together with a very stylish Lacey Duke directed video. 'No Love', the third track on summer Walker's 2021 album - 'Still Over It', has been stretched by an extra 45 seconds and now adds Cardi B to the credits.
'No Love' is the second single to be released from her second album, the first and lead single being 'Ex For A Reason' featuring JT and 'Pussy Talk' and 'Twerkulator' rap duo City Girls. Summer will no doubt be hoping that the new, enhanced version of 'No Love' will take her to a higher chart position than that of 'Ex For A Reason' which topped out at 42 on the UK singles chart and 33 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the original album version of 'No Love' which peaked at number 24 in the UK and number 13 in the U.S.
'Still Over It', the album from which 'No Love' originated and Summer Walker's follow up to her 2019 debut album - 'Over It', was a huge success for the Georgian artist going into the top 5 of the UK album charts and going straight to the top of the U.S. Billboard 200.
Just before the video for 'No Love' dropped Atlanta's Walker posted on her Instagram page - "Official video for ‘No Love’ (Extended Version) w/ @Sza & @iamcardib tonight at midnight! dir. by @laceyduke". A few days later she added..."I hope y’all love the “no love” Extended video as much as I do. Thank you @itsbankhead & @bentleyrebel for getting me out my comfort zone and @iamcardib & @sza for making this song so special. And shout out to all the signs…we love y’all".
According to Songfacts.com - "SZA and Walker wrote the song with its Canadian producer FORTHENIGHT (Bad Bunny's "P FKN R," Don Toliver's "Can't Feel My Legs"), and Brazilian producer Sonni.
