Tory Lanez, aside from dodging an on-going commentary about the state of his hair, has also dropped his latest song and video for 'Feels'. The Canadian rapper who is still fielding questions over his involvement in the shooting of WAP star Megan Thee Stallion released his new song, 'Feels', as a collaborative venture with fellow, sometimes controversial, superstar Chris Brown.
Lanez latest release follows two single releases in 2021, 'Big Tipper (feat. Melii, Lil Wayne)'and '1 Hitter (feat. VV$ Ken)', both taken from his late 2020 album, 'Loner'. 'Feels' is Lanez first release of entirely new material since his last ten song album was premiered on December 22nd.
Presumably Tory Lanez his hoping that the conversation can shift from follicles to 'Feels' but the g-pop seem reluctant to let it go. QUEEN JANE APPROXIMATELY @yungsweettay wrote on Twitter, "tory lanez wanted to talk all that s**t about meg, but his hair looking like the water bandit from home alone" with Andrew @boixandrew saying, "Tory Lanez’s hair looking like Jamie Fox’s hair in The Amazing Spider-Man 2". Even 50Cent has joined in the mockery, posting a video on his Instagram site.
Hopefully Tory Lanez will get past his on-going hairdressing issues and people will move past it. His latest release certainly has enough quality about it to move the discussion forward and beyond it.
'Feels' is as smooth an R&B track as you could wish for. The deep bass beat, snare and angelic vocals work in unison to deliver up a deliciously silky and sexy song. The production and arrangement are polished to perfection in this most chilled out and laid back of songs from Tory Lanez and Chris Brown. (In the video Lanez, wisely, keeps his baseball cap firmly in place!)
