We Cut Corners' new single, Toll Free, is the latest single from their debut album, Today I Realised I Could Go Home Backwards, which was released in Ireland in November 2011. They will be playing two UK dates in April 2012; both will be in London on the 3rd and the 6th. They will also be playing two Belfast dates on the 3rd and 4th March 2012, along with The Maccabees.
The video for Toll Free was made by Tusk Productions. It sees the duo pulling a number of silly faces at the camera. The video also features a number of original effects that makes it an interesting watch.
John Duignan and Conall O'Breachain, who make up We Cut Corners, had a successful end to 2011 - Today I Realised I Could Go Home Backwards received critical acclaim upon its release and was short-listed as one of the ten Irish albums nominated for the Choice Music Prize for Best Irish Album of 2011. Their debut album is set to be released in the UK in 2012.
In addition, they have also performed with Villagers; Two Door Cinema Club; Joan As Police Woman and Fight Like Apes.
