What did Willem Defoe have to say about the movie?

And it won't be only the audiences that enjoy this film either, as Willem Defoe, who plays J.G. Jopling, also had a lot of fun during the shoot.

"It was fun because we were all staying at the same hotel and so we created sort of a parallel life to the life in the film", he explains. "It blurred the lines between our personal lives and what was happening on the screen."

Defoe also comments on Anderson's film-making style, as he says "He gives you a lot to play with, everything becomes quite self-evident and his direction is always quite formal."

'The Grand Budapest Hotel' will hit theatres on March 7th.
