White Arrows are re-releasing their song Get Gone, which was originally released in September 2011 as part of a split 7 inch. This time around, the track will be available on the band's upcoming EP, Fireworks of the Sea, which will be released on 9th April 2011 through Votiv.
The psychedelic video for Get Gone is footage of the band performing live but with swirly colours splashed over the top.
White Arrows comprise Mickey Church (vocals); his brother Henry (drums); J.P. Caballero (guitar); Andrew Naeve (keys, percussion) and Steven Vernet (bass). As a young boy, Mickey was blind, with memories being confined to smells, sounds and colour, which certainly provides an influence for the band's colourful videos. Mickey had his vision corrected at the age of eleven and has a degree from NYU in, unusually, Ritualistic Shamanism.
Their tracks have been heard in popular shows such as HBO's How to Make it in America and MTV's The City. Their debut album, as yet unnamed, will be released soon.
