On May 16th Whitestarr will release their full length album on Contango Records. Whitestarr party hard, date hot chicks and yea, they play music too. Collectively, they are all about the good old days of rock & roll. They are quite possibly the most famous band to have never released a record.
So why are they famous? Well, the lead singer/songwriter is Cisco Adler, son of music biz legend Lou Adler, ex-fiance of Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberley Stewart and current boy toy of The OC's Mischa Barton. Google him and you'll get a zillion celeb blog hits with pics with him and Mischa making out on the beach.
But it doesn't stop there kids. The drummer's name is Alex Orbison. Recognize that last name? Yep, he's the son of rock & roll pioneer Roy Orbison. You can stream some tracks on their web site now. There's sort of a Black Crows roots/Americana throwback rock & roll thing happening.
